A dad of two with a "good heart" has died at the age of 28.
Rean Christie struggled with poor mental health and debt after he had his car 'stolen at gunpoint' last year, according to one of his close friends. Billy Thompson was 'devastated' after finding out that Rean took his own life on April 18.
Rean leaves behind two young children, Miami, 3, and Orlando, 2, as well as his girlfriend Chloe. Billy spoke with pain in this voice when describing what Rean's family have had to go through since his death.

Speaking to the ECHO, the business owner said that Rean, who lived in Tuebrook, struggled with debt and slipped into depression before taking his own life. He described him as a "hard worker" as he had not long started his own business in car valeting across Merseyside.
Billy, 56, said: "He was brilliant. He had a good heart, he was a hard worker and he was just genuine. There are not a lot of genuine people about. I've got my own business and I met him through that years ago.
"I've known him for about seven years and he's always been backwards and forwards with me but he was just a really nice lad. He would do anything for you. I remember him coming to the shop with his babies and he was always dead proud.
"He really wanted to do well. Everything he put his hand to he would always try his best."
Following the death of Rean, Billy set up a GoFundMe page last week to help financially support his family and ease the burden of the loss. In a matter of days, the page has already accumulated £10,000. Billy now wants to raise awareness around suicide.
Writing on the GoFundMe, he said: "Rean Christie, aged 28, was a wonderful man with a loving soul and would happily go above and beyond for anyone. Dedicating his life to his two beautiful children, Miami aged 3 and Orlando aged 2. Rean had an indescribable love for his family, friends, and anyone around him.
"Unfortunately, on 18th April 2022, Rean took his own life - an event that shocked us all.
"With heartfelt consideration, we’ve decided to set up this fundraiser for Rean to help provide his partner and children with support for their future. More so, we want to bring light to the epidemic of suicide currently spreading throughout society. Suicide is a layered, complex issue - not something so easily described with words.
"We’d like to remember Rean for the person he was - a strong, caring, and inspirational man."
