A new defibrillator has been installed at the Edinburgh high school where teenager Andrew MacKinnon attended before his tragic death.
The 15-year-old was a pupil at Forrester High School when he collapsed while playing football with friends in March. A keen footballer, Andrew's passing shook the community and left a hole in the hearts of friends and family.
His dad, also named Andrew, has been vocal on social media following his son's death, and recently started up the Andrew Mackinnon Foundation, aiming to help youngsters play football no matter their circumstances.

The foundation recently posted a picture of Andrew next to the new defibrillator installed at Forrester, saying that the current life-saving piece of medical equipment is close to expiry.
Andrew said replacing the defibrillator was the first thing the foundation aimed to do as it is a cause close to his heart. Andrew was joined by headteacher Mr Stephen Rafferty who he says has offered a 'great amount of support.
Posting to the Andrew MacKinnon Foundation #Forever15 page, he said: "We are delighted to announce that the Andrew MacKinnon Foundation #Forever15 has donated a brand new defibrillator to Andrew’s school, Forrester High School.
"This was always the first thing we intended to do as the existing one they had was due for replacement. The whole school, led by Head Teacher Mr Stephen Rafferty, have been a great support over the last few months despite also dealing with their own heartbreak at the devastating loss of Andrew.
"Mr Rafferty has worked tirelessly with me to ensure we could get this done and I cannot thank him enough.
"All of this wouldn’t be possible without the support we have had in setting up this Foundation. I’d like to thank everyone who has taken the time to donate, like/share the page and helped us get our name out there.
"A huge thank you to Kimberley from London Hearts for all her help and support. Special thanks to our sponsors for the amazing support also."
