A dad-of-four is in a coma after being stabbed while on a stag do in a popular resort in Portugal.

Joel Collins, from Troedyrhiw in Wales, is the second Welsh victim of a stabbing in the coastal city of Albufeira in the southern Algarve region in 2022.

The 35-year-old was allegedly stabbed without provocation while walking home on July 4 after getting separated from his friends on a night out, reports Wales Online.
