Dad jailed after baby girl dies alone in her cot while he played video games

A dad who admitted neglecting his 19-month-old daughter after she was found dead has been jailed for 14 months.

Kiera Conroy was found lifeless by her parents Michael Conroy and Kirsty Boyle five days before Christmas.

Conroy, 27, and Boyle, 24, had stayed up through the previous night watching TV then slept for hours leaving the toddler alone in another room.
