Dad fumes at Asda staff after seven-year-old son sold £2 scratchcard

A dad has blasted Asda after claiming his son was allowed to buy a £2 scratchcard - despite being nine years below the legal age limit.

James Fletcher-Retallick, 47, said he was "shocked" after son Ronnie, seven, was able to make the purchase with his pocket money. The minimum age to buy National Lottery scratchcards in the UK is 16.

James said Ronnie was with him during a trip to the store in Folkestone, Kent in August.
