Dad found dead in bed after reassuring friends he was OK

The family of a dad-of-two who died after struggling with substance abuse have paid tribute to "the nicest lad you could ever meet".

An inquest into the death of Stephen Holt was held at Preston Coroner's Court on Thursday (May 25). Stephen had been diagnosed with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder which his family firmly believe were caused by substance misuse.

On January 17 of this year, Stephen, 33, was at his friend Sam's house in Coppull. He had a few drinks while he was there and although his friends didn't see him taking drugs they suspected he was under the influence of ketamine, reports LancsLive.
