A horrified dad claims Tesco selling milk for more money than a brand new kettle summarises 'what is wrong with this country'. Mark Hodgkinson popped into a branch of Tesco Extra to pick up some milk.
The dad-of-five was 'flabbergasted' when he spotted he could snap up a 1.7 litre Tesco Home kettle that was reduced to £1.90, while a six-pint bottle of Tesco own-brand whole milk was £2.35.
The 20% price difference is something Mark, who doesn't currently work, says is 'unjustifiable' and a stark example of the cost of living crisis as he branded it 'the world's most expensive milk'.
