A dad due to start a second round of gruelling chemotherapy has been forced to go without electricity at times because he can't afford to top up his meter.
Lewis Griffiths, from Llandaff North in Cardiff, put all his savings into setting up a bathroom installation business six months before he was diagnosed with blood cancer Hodgkin lymphoma.
This meant the 33-year-old - whose three children and two stepchildren are aged from three to 19 - had very little money to see him through the periods he was receiving chemotherapy and was too sick and exhausted to work, reports Wales Online.
