A man, believed to be looking after his son and daughter-in-law's dog, has died after being bitten.
Police said they received a report just before midday on Monday from the ambulance service that the man, named locally as Keven Jones, was in cardiac arrest at an address on Holt Road, Wrexham.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the 62-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. According to North Wales Live, Chanel Nicole Fong was with her father-in-law when he died at her home. She described it as the "worst day of her life".
