Dabo Swinney had a prolonged rant in response to a young radio caller

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney, who famously said that he’d consider quitting his job and coaching pro football if his players (sorry, “student-athletes”) were ever paid, seems to be having troubles in the time of NIL and the transfer portal. There’s nothing more emotional for such a man who’s all of a sudden behind the proverbial 8-ball, and given Clemson’s current 4-4 record and status as 10th in the ACC, you would expect that Swinney gets pretty hot when things don’t go his way.

Such a thing occurred when a young fan called into a radio show Swinney was on, and asked him a pressing question.

The coach was not going to take it.

You can hear the full rant, in which Swinney tells us all how great things used to be, on this here “Tiger Calls” audio snippet.

Son, you don’t question those who don’t like to be questioned, even when the questions are legitimate. Let that be a lesson to you!
