Holidaymakers heading to Cyprus will have to wear face masks in certain areas.
Just a month after the beautiful island nation dropped Covid rules it has announced that they're coming back.
Its health ministry announced on Wednesday that tourists will once again have to wear face masks indoors.
In April Cyprus opened up its borders and removed all entry restrictions, prompting tourists to flock back to the island for their Easter holidays.
It removed the requirement for masks on 1 June, the last restriction left in place from the coronavirus pandemic.
The measure has now been reintroduced after a surge in Covid infections, with a total of 10,879 new cases reported in the first week of July.
It will be a major blow for Cyprus if it has to introduce further restrictions due to a spike in hospitalisations and deaths.
Tourism is a huge part of the island's economy, making up 13% of its GDP.
Its tourism chiefs are predicting a difficult year even now that the international travel is operating smoothly again due to a fall in visitors from Russia and Ukraine, who usually flock to Cyprus.
Major holiday destinations including Spain, Italy and France still have rules restricting entry for UK travellers two and a half years into the pandemic.
While the vast majority of countries are now open for tourist business once again - and quarantine hotels are hopefully a thing of the past - Covid stemming measures remain in place in many nations.
We have compiled a list of some of the key holiday destinations which still have coronavirus restrictions in place which can be viewed here.
It's worth noting that the rules are constantly changing, so check on the Government's website before booking a trip.
