Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Newport saw a man taken to hospital with injuries. The incident happened on Tuesday, February 28, at 10.30pm on Corporation Road.
Officers attended, along with personnel from the Welsh Ambulance Service, and the collision involved a car and an e-bike. The cyclist, a 28-year-old man from Newport, was taken to hospital for treatment and his injuries are not thought to be "life changing."
The driver, a 26-year-old-man from Newport, was arrested under suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving and has since been released under investigation.
Gwent Police is asking for witnesses, or any motorists with dash-cam footage that were in the area between 10pm- 11pm, to contact them.
