A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car in Newtownabbey this afternoon.
Police were called to the incident on the O'Neill Road at 1.55pm on Saturday, July 9, after receiving reports that a collision had taken place.
A section of the road was closed between O'Neill Road and Antrim Road due to the incident.

The male cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
One man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of a number of driving offences and remains in police custody.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a road traffic collision involving a car and a cyclist on the O’Neill Road, Newtownabbey shortly before 1.55pm today, Saturday, 9th July.
"Road closures were in place between the O’Neill Road and Antrim Road for motorists.
"The male cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
"One man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of a number of driving offences. He remains in police custody at this time, assisting with enquiries.
"Anyone who may have any information or dash-cam footage which can assist our investigation is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 964 of 09/07/22."
