A cyclist has been left with serious injuries following a collision between an e-scooter and a lorry in the early hours of this morning in Tallaght.
Gardai are now appealing for any potential witnesses to the serious incident on the N81 Tallaght bypass to contact them. The incident happened at around 6.15am this morning at the junction beside the Jobstown House.
The cyclist who is in his 20s is currently hospitalised in Tallaght University Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the lorry was left uninjured.

A garda spokesman said: "Investigating Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward. They are also appealing to those with camera footage (including motorists with dash cam) from the location of the collision, to make it available to them. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Tallaght Garda Station on 01 6666000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station."
