A cyclist was left with several serious injuries after he was knocked from his bike in a hit and run incident in Co Meath last month.
The incident happened on the L2214, Kilcloone to Maynooth Road on Thursday, December 8 at around 1:20pm. The man was knocked from his bike with the driver of the vehicle then failing to wait at the scene.
One person came to the aid of the injured man and gardai are calling for that person to come forward to help with their investigation.

Gardai are also appealing for witnesses, especially those who may have dash cam footage of the area during that time. They said: "Witnesses can contact the Dunshaughlin Garda Station on 01-8258600, the Ashbourne Garda Station on 01-8010600 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111."
Provisional figures for serious injuries released by the Road Safety Authority indicate that 1,292 serious injuries were recorded up to the 29 December 2022 compared to 1,342 up to the same period in 2021.
