A Lanarkshire driver knocked a cyclist unconscious after crashing into her.
Cambuslang man, Happy Happy, 42, ploughed into the cyclist in Glasgow's Mount Vernon on November 5, 2021.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard the victim had cycled to a give way.
Prosecutor Jeremy O'Neill said: "Happy failed to give way and exited the junction at speed and collided with the side of the bike causing her to fall to the ground.
"As she was not wearing a helmet, she lost consciousness for a short time.
"Happy stopped nearby and attended to assist.
"An ambulance was called and she was conveyed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
"It was confirmed there were no serious injuries."
Happy - who was driving a Ford Mondeo at the time - was later traced by police.
He pled guilty today to causing injury to the woman by careless driving.
Sentence was deferred until the end of the month pending background reports by Sheriff Tom Ward.
Happy, of Cambuslang, South Lanarkshire, had his bail continued meantime.
