A cyclist was hospitalised after being hit by a bus in South Lanarkshire.
Police were called to Greenfield Road in Hamilton on Wednesday. The alarm was raised at around 9.20am.
Officers found a crash involving a cyclist and a bus had taken place at the scene. The cyclist, a man, was rushed to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
An ambulance 'trauma team' were drafted in who then took the cyclist to hospital. Ambulance chiefs told Glasgow Live that the man is 'in his fifties' but did not provide information on his current medical condition.

No other injuries have been reported at this stage. Police did not reveal the exact circumstances that led to the smash.
The road sits in the Burnbank area and meets the main road, just next to St Cuthbert's Primary School. Police confirmed the incident to Glasgow Live on Thursday morning.
A force spokeswoman said: "Officers attended at Greenfield Road in Hamilton at around 9.20am on Wednesday July 27, 2022 following a crash involving a bus and male cyclist. The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment."
The Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) revealed that a trauma team, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance were sent to Hamilton to deal with the incident.
An SAS spokesperson told Glasgow Live: “We were called to attend a road traffic collision yesterday morning on Greenfield Road, Burnbank, Hamilton.
"We dispatched the trauma team, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance to the scene and a male in his fifties was transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
