Police have launched an appeal after a cyclist died in a seaside town near Nottinghamshire. The force have urged witnesses to come forward after a woman had sadly died following reports that she collapsed on Station Road, in Sutton on Sea, on Sunday night, May 28.
Lincolnshire Police said they have received a call that a woman in her 60s was in need of medical assistance at 6.43pm. Sadly, despite the efforts of those who responded to the incident, she died a short while later.
Her next of kin have been informed, police added. The force said the cyclist had been heading in the Skegness direction.

Police are asking to view dashcam footage from people who may have been driving near to the chip shop in High Street to the Co-op store in Station Road between 6.30pm and 6.45pm on Sunday night. Station Road has been closed in both directions from the roundabout to the junction past the Co-Op while we carry out initial enquiries, and we expect it to remain closed for some time.
