A cyclist has been left critically injured after he collided with another cyclist on a path next to the Thames on Tuesday morning.
The riders smashed into each other on a corner near Petersham Road, Richmond, at 7.33am.
A police statement said: “Officers were called at 07:33hrs to Petersham Road, Richmond to reports of a collision between two cyclists.
“Both cyclists were male and taken to hospital, one man is in a critical condition.
“Officers are working to inform the next of kin. Enquiries continue.”
