A cyclist is recovering in hospital after being airlifted from the scene of an accident involving a stationary truck in Co Wexford.
The accident occurred at 12.45pm on Saturday on the busy Wexford town to Rosslare Europort between Oylegate and Kyle Cross.
Emergency services, gardai and an Air Corps helicopter were called to the crash scene. The cyclist suffered serious injuries when it is believed that he crashed into a parked truck on the hard shoulder of the road.

The cyclist was airlifted to Tallaght Hospital for urgent treatment.
The road was sealed off for several hours to allow garda crash scene investigators to examine the scene. The road has since re-opened
In a statement gardai said: “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of road traffic collision on the N11 at Oylegate, Co Wexford, today (Saturday), at 12.45pm, involving a cyclist and trailer.
“The cyclist has been taken to Tallaght Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The road has since reopened.”
