Cycling legend Sir Bradley Wiggins paid a visit to the Stewartry last week.
The five-times Olympic gold medallist is currently on a 500 kilometre bike ride that will take him from Dumfries and Galloway to the Isle of Wight.
And the first stage of that saw him cycle from Dunskey Estate near Portpatrick to Corsock on Monday.
The ride is being held to raise awareness for funds for Mr Porter Health in Mind – a scheme aimed at helping men lead happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Along the way, the 2021 Tour de France winner will be joined by some familiar faces to record a five-episode podcast series called Shoulder to Shoulder: Conversations From The Road with Sir Bradley Wiggins.
The 41-year-old said: “I know first-hand just how beneficial riding your bike in company can be, not just physically, but also mentally. A good friend once told me there are few things that can’t be worked out on a bike ride – and it’s so true.
“It’s great that this very special event is supported by Mr Porter Health In Mind and I’m really looking forward to riding the length of the country and sharing stories with some fascinating characters.”
Global brand director for Mr Porter, Xanthe Greenhill, added: “We are very pleased to be working with Sir Bradley Wiggins and LeBlanq on this unique and impactful partnership and we hope by sharing these intimate conversations in a podcast series, each story will engage people to want to learn more and start conversations themselves.”
