Morty the corgi has become a TikTok sensation after he struck up a friendship with the koi fish in his family's pond, the Mirror reports.
A sweet clip of the pair has now gone viral after receiving more than 8.8m views as internet users across the world have become transfixed by the two animal's special connection. Morty's owner has posted a series of videos on TikTok, displaying the adorable corgi's admiration for the fish.
The emotional footage commences with a clip of a concerned Morty panicking because he can't locate his the fish in the pond after they were removed while the water was cleaned. A wholesome follow up 'fish update' then shows an overjoyed Morty finding his friends again and excitedly scuttling around them following their movements as they seemingly swim back to him.
