The booking will be available for groups of two to eight people, providing the perfect excuse to gather with friends or family at your favourite restaurant, or to discover a new one.
Hundreds of restaurants are expected to take part in Dining Week which is supported by the Restaurants Association of Ireland and Fáilte Ireland, and sponsored by WorldPay from FIS.
EarlyTable, the platform hosting Dining Week, expects to reach up to one million customers through its upcoming media campaign.
James Lenehan, of EarlyTable, said: “It’s been a long and difficult two years for our hospitality industry, and we hope that DiningWeek is the kickstart that’s needed now. A small booking fee is required on the EarlyTable platform, but for DiningWeek, we decided to donate the fee to St Vincent de Paul given the great work they are doing to support the hosting of Ukrainian refugees”.
Garrett Clifford of Worldpay, sponsors of DiningWeek added: “Worldpay are thrilled to support Early Table with our sponsorship of Dining Week, a fantastic initiative to help and support our Restaurant sector in Ireland”.
The Restaurants Association of Ireland (RAI) said it hopes the initiative will further support the restaurant industry after a turbulent two years.
Adrian Cummins, of the RAI, said: “We are delighted to introduce Dining Week and see it as an ongoing initiative that will help support the restaurant industry. Dining Week will encourage patrons to re-engage with local eateries and celebrate quality food and hospitality across Ireland.”
