Curtis Kitchen from Olathe, Kansas, found himself in the midst of Hurricane Beryl while vacationing in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Despite the initial calm weather, the situation quickly escalated, leaving Kitchen and his family to face the wrath of the storm.
According to Kitchen, the family had been monitoring the forecast and initially believed they would avoid the worst of the hurricane. However, as the day progressed, the conditions deteriorated rapidly, with heavy rains and high winds wreaking havoc on the lively vacation spot.
