Currys has launched a summer sale with big discounts on Dyson vacuum cleaners, Apple Macbooks and laptops.
The high street store usually launches a major summer sale around the same time as Amazon Prime Day but this year it has gone early with big discounts on technology and household items including Amazon's own Echo Show device, which is reduced by £70. Amazon is not expected to launch its own Prime Day sale until mid-July and it means Currys has over a month of discounts before the online giant begins to match sale prices for some items.
The biggest discounts include £100 off the price of a Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner. The vacuum cleaner is usually priced at £329.99 but has been reduced by £100 in the sale, making it £229.99. Dyson's big rival, Shark, is also in the sale with a Shark Anti Hair Wrap vacuum cleaner priced at the same level of £229.99, which is a saving of £120.
