Four people had to be treated by paramedics after a house fire in Cumbernauld.
Emergency services were called to Torbrex Road last night, Sunday May 1, after reports flames had taken hold in the Carbrain home.
Three fire engines, an ambulance and police attended the incident just before 7pm.
Firefighters left the scene once the area was made safe.
The four individuals were placed in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service but their current condition is not known.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 6.53pm on Sunday 1 May to reports of a fire within a dwelling in Torbrex Road, Cumbernauld.
“Operations control immediately mobilised three fire engines to the location and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire. Four casualties were handed over to the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
