NEW DELHI: Adherence to strict security protocol resulted in some anxious moments and distress to around 550 Common University Entrance Test (CUET) aspirants, including 15 who could not take the exam on Friday, the first day of the undergraduate admission test.
Even as parents and candidates alleged mismanagement, the National Testing Agency (NTA), which is conducting the exam, defended itself saying, ignoring the “mock test” failure in 11 centres out of a total of 245 would have meant compromising on secured delivery of the test.
