NEW DELHI: When the fourth phase of the common university entrance test (CUET) began on Wednesday, students yet again faced the harassment of arriving at exam centres only to find the tests cancelled. In some centres, the candidates sat in front of their malfunctioning computers for several hours before being told to leave without writing their exams.
According to officials of the National Testing Agency, which organises the exams, the morning session of the exams Wednesday was cancelled at 13 centres nationwide, eight of them in Delhi. Exams at 10 Delhi centres in the afternoon shift were cancelled, affecting 8,000 students.
