A walk-off home run Wednesday night for the Cubs might have produced the celebration of the season at Wrigley Field.
With the Cubs in the thick of the playoff race and facing the crosstown rival White Sox, designated hitter Christopher Morel delivered in the clutch. The result: A walk-off three-run blast to right-center field that sent fans at Wrigley into a frenzy and had the Cubs celebrating like they had won the World Series.
