A Quiet Drawdown, No Announcement

Two of the four Cuban diplomats stationed in Seoul packed up and flew home to Havana earlier this month, cutting the embassy's staff in half. The move surfaced only through diplomatic sources who spoke to Seoul Economic Daily, not through any statement from either government. Ambassador Claudio Monzón and Counselor Patricia Flechilla Prometa remain the only Cuban officials left at the mission.
