Riders on Brown and Purple Line evacuated along catwalk over Chicago River when their train loses power at Wells and Wacker

Hundreds of riders on the Brown and Purple Line were evacuated along a catwalk over the Chicago River when their train lost power at Wells and Wacker Tuesday evening.

No injuries were reported, but the Chicago Fire Department tweeted that “some are nervous about catwalk over the river but firefighters are spread out to reassure them.”
