NEW DELHI: Shubman Gill, the star batter of Gujarat Titans, etched his name in the record books during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 final against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Gill's exceptional batting performance added another feather to his cap as he achieved a unique record in the tournament.

During the final, Gill scored 39 off just 20 balls, which included seven fours. His blistering knock had a staggering strike rate of 195.00. However, his innings was cut short by Ravindra Jadeja, aided by the lightning-fast hands of wicketkeeper MS Dhoni behind the stumps.
