Vicente Guaita - 7
Rarely tested in the first half but had more to do in the second period. Collected a Marcal cross on the hour mark that would've ended with a shot on target had he not intervened before coming off his line quickly to deny Oliveira.
Tyrick Mitchell - 7
Several brilliant pieces of defending in the first half completely halted Wolves' attacks down the right side. England manager Gareth Southgate was in the stands to watch along and would have enjoyed what he saw from the left-back.
Marc Guehi - 7
Composed in the first 45 minutes and continued that into the second period. Didn't allow Pedro Neto any space and was out to intercept and block the ball several times.
Joachim Andersen - 8
Completely dominant first half for the Dane who didn't allow Wolves' forward line an inch. It was a similar story in the second half as Wolves pressed more but couldn't find a way past the centre-back.
Nathaniel Clyne - 6
Didn't have any particular stand out moments but was reliable and defended well as he sat back with Guehi and Andersen.
Cheikhou Kouyate - 6
Quiet from the big man in midfield but kept things ticking and made some good interceptions that got Palace up the pitch quickly.
Jeffrey Schlupp - 7
Good early chance to get a sight at goal after making a big recovery tackle in midfield before seeing his effort drift wide. Another good burst into the box then led to him being fouled by Max Kilman to win a penalty.
Continued to play well in the second half and provided boundless energy from midfield.
Conor Gallagher - 7
Played an exquisite pass down the line for Wilfried Zaha for the opener that the winger ran onto before squaring for Mateta to score the opener.
Wilfried Zaha - 7
Initially seemed like he'd left it too late to turn Gallagher's perfect pass into a cross for Mateta but squeezed through to the Frenchman nonetheless for the opener. Showed no signs that his Norwich penalty miss was still in his mind as he smashed Palace into a 2-0 lead from the spot.
Made an excellent, last-ditch tackle on Ruben Neves in the second half to make sure the midfielder couldn't get a shot off on goal.
Jean-Philippe Mateta - 8
Presented with an early opportunity to really test Jose Sa from a corner but failed to do so. Luckily got another chance shortly after and - thanks to a bit of good fortune - smashed into Wolves' empty net following Zaha's cutback.
Michael Olise - 6
Wasn't directly involved in the early good play coming down the left channel but got a chance to test Sa towards the end of the first half which he did with a curling, right-footed effort towards the top corner. Struggled to have much impact in the second half.
Substitutes
Christian Benteke (for Jean-Philippe Mateta 69')
Got several touches in the Wolves box shortly after coming on. Good to see the Belgian back on the pitch.
Luka Milivojevic (for Cheikhou Kouayte 69')
Really important tackle to break up Wolves' possession at a crucial moment late in the second half
Will Hughes (for Michael Olise 81')
