Crystal Palace: Oliver Glasner reveals Jean-Philippe Mateta knee surgery decision after failed January exit

Jean-Philippe Mateta will not undergo surgery on the knee injury which caused his transfer to AC Milan to collapse, Oliver Glasner has confirmed.

Crystal Palace reached an agreement with the Italian side to sell the striker, but the move broke down after his medical revealed a knee injury which it was feared would require surgery.
