Crystal Palace name severely depleted squad for Liverpool friendly clash in Singapore

Liverpool Crystal Palace Palace Singapore Christian Benteke Fabio Carvalho JeanPhilippe Mateta Jordan Ayew Luka Milivojevic Nathaniel Clyne

Crystal Palace will be without a number of key players for the meeting against Liverpool this Friday in Singapore.

The Eagles jetted off to Singapore on Tuesday to begin their pre-season tour, starting with a clash against Jurgen Klopp 's side at the National Stadium later this week. They'll then head to Australia for games against Premier League duo Manchester United and Leeds United.

However, manager Patrick Vieira will have a limited selection with just 10 first team players flying out for the tour. 26 players in total have travelled, compared to Liverpool 's 37 that flew out to Thailand over the weekend.
