Crystal Palace favourite Clinton Morrison has made a big statement about Eagles boss, Patrick Vieira following his side's late winner against West Ham United in the Premier League.
The Eagles have soared up the league table into ninth following a late 94th minute Michael Olise winner against rivals West Ham at the London Stadium. The hosts opened the scoring in the 20th minute, Saïd Benrahma striking from distance to give the Hammers the lead, before Wilfred Zaha, who turns 30 next week, levelled the scores just minutes before half-time.
Michael Olise, who struggled for consistent game time in his first season under Vieira, has become a key player for the Frenchman in recent fixtures, had his crowning moment against West Ham, cutting inside on favoured left foot to curl one beyond Fabianski and win the game for the Eagles in spectacular fashion.

Morrison, who made a combined 281 senior appearances for Palace across two spells, said, when speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live after the match, that it is a result that cannot be understated.
"It is a massive win to go there and win, I thought it would be difficult at West Ham but that is a brilliant result," he said.
He went on to sing the praises of manager Vieira, who arrived at SE25 in the summer of 2021 with mixed successes in his previous managerial jobs, but Morrison believes he has grown into one of the best in the business.
"Patrick Vieira is one of the best managers around," he boldly stated. "Speaking to people there, he is a big manager, he is brilliant to the players and Palace are slowly but surely moving up the Premier League table, next week they go to Nottingham Forest and hopefully, it is great times for them."
