Cruz Beckham's introduction to modelling has been lambasted by fans claiming his debut magazine cover shoot was 'disturbing'.
Cruz, 17, who is the youngest son of footballing icon David and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, sparked controversy after posing topless in his underwear.
The teenager, who has aspirations to launch a music career, had his jeans down for the spring edition of i-D magazine.
Cruz, sported a pink buzzcut, tattoos and pulled down his lip to reveal silver teeth for the Out of Body issue.
Proud mum Victoria revealed the shoot was a tribute to his dad as she shared side-by-side look-alike snaps of former footballer David posing for magazine Arena Homme Plus in 2000 when he was 25.
Victoria shared a selection of photos from the shoot and told her 29.5million followers on her Instagram: “He learned from the best.”
“Big first day as a 17-year-old! @cruzbeckham for @i_d, so proud,” she wrote, according to Manchester Evening News.
And over on his Instagram David said: “So cool @cruzbeckham for @i_d such a proud dad.”
But some followers felt it was inappropriate for a boy of Cruz's age.
Valenzendejas commented: “Very disturbing... sad.”
sharmaine_e_w wrote: “I don’t wanna see a 17 year old like that.”
And explaining their comment they said: “It wasn’t toxic... just more of the fact I remember all the boys being born. They’ve gone from babies to this and it’s uncomfortable to adjust to it isn’t it.”
kerrybutch wrote: “Yep I agree, imagine if it was a girl! Everyone would call it out, these pictures are not in good taste for a 17 year old.”
allieinwonder said: “A under 18 year old in his underwear with a tattoo shame kids aren’t allowed to be kids anymore.”
johncodill said: “17 and in underwear on a mag cover. If this was a girl we would be appalled.”
nikkineve responded: “So were these taken at the age of 16? Honestly @victoriabeckham I truly think these are awful pics for a 16 yr old.
“Maybe I am completely out of touch! But tattoos and silver teeth half naked is just wrong at that age.”
And kramerlorraine said: “Dreadful he’s only 17.”
But others liked the pictures and complimented the teenager.
