Crude Pushes Higher on Dollar Weakness

Oil United States OPEC

August WTI crude oil (CLQ24) today is up +0.92 (+1.14%), and Aug RBOB gasoline (RBQ24) is up +1.75 (+0.69%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices today are moving higher, with crude posting an 8-week high and gasoline posting a 5-week high.  Today's weaker dollar is supportive of energy prices.  Also, the strength of the crude crack spread is bullish for crude after the crack spread today rose to a 5-week high.
