Crude Prices Weighed Down by Progress in Israel/Hamas Ceasefire Talks

February WTI crude oil (CLG25) Tuesday closed down -1.32 (-1.67%), and February RBOB gasoline (RBG25) closed up +0.0043 (+0.20%).

Crude and gasoline prices Tuesday settled mixed.   Crude prices came under pressure Tuesday on improved prospects for a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, which could ease tensions in the Middle East.  Losses in crude were contained due to a weaker dollar.
