Crude Prices Underpinned by Escalating Middle East Tensions

May WTI crude oil (CLK24) this morning is up +0.67 (+0.77%), and May RBOB gasoline (RBK24) is up +1.45 (+0.52%).

Crude and gasoline prices this morning extended this week's rally, with crude posting a 5-1/4 month high and gasoline posting a 7-month high.  Gains in crude today are limited due to a stronger dollar.
