Nov WTI crude oil and gasoline prices this morning are moderately lower, with gasoline falling to a 3-week low. Today’s rally in the dollar index (DXY00) to a 6-1/2 month high is undercutting energy prices. Also, there are concerns that a worsening of China's property debt crisis will derail China's economy and energy demand is weighing on crude prices. However, losses in crude are limited by expectations that global oil supplies will remain tight.
