Crude Prices Slightly Higher on Middle East Tensions

June WTI crude oil (CLM24) this morning is up +0.06 (+0.07%), and May RBOB gasoline (RBK24) is down -0.35 (-0.13%).

Crude and gasoline prices this morning are mixed.   Middle East tensions are underpinning crude prices on concerns of escalation of the Israel-Hamas war.  Israel has launched strikes against more than 40 sites linked to Hezbollah in Lebanon this week, and the Israel Defense Force said today that they are "in the process of accelerating readiness for continued fighting."  Gains in crude are limited today due to a stronger dollar.
