Crude Prices Settle Lower as Iran Has Yet to Attack Israel

Sep WTI crude oil (CLU24) on Tuesday closed down -1.71 (-2.14%), and Sep RBOB gasoline (RBU24) closed down -6.84 (-2.80%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices retreated on Tuesday as Iran has yet to attack Israel. Crude prices surged Monday to a 3-week high on fears of an imminent attack against Israel by Iran in response to last month's assassination of a Hamas leader by Israel in Iran.
