Crude Prices Retreat on Hopes Middle East Energy Exports to Recover

October WTI crude oil (CLV26) closed down -1.61 (-1.58%) on Friday, and October RBOB gasoline (RBV26) closed up +0.0203 (+0.58%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices settled mixed on Friday. Crude prices were under pressure on Friday on hopes that diplomacy could end hostilities in the Middle East, leading to the resumption of crude flows from the region.
