Crude Prices Retreat on Ample US Crude Supplies

May WTI crude oil (CLK24) on Wednesday closed down -2.67 (-3.13%), and May RBOB gasoline (RBK24) closed down -9.36 (-3.32%).

Crude and gasoline prices Wednesday sold off sharply, with crude falling to a 3-week low and gasoline dropping to a 2-week low.  Crude prices tumbled after Wednesday's weekly EIA report showed crude inventories rose more than expected to a 10-month high.
