Crude Prices Rebound with a Recovery in Asset Markets

Sep WTI crude oil (CLU24) today is up +0.23 (+0.32%), and Sep RBOB gasoline (RBU24) is up +0.60 (+0.26%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices today are mildly higher.  Today's rebound in US equity markets sparked risk-on sentiment that boosted most asset markets.  Also, reduced oil supplies from Libya are lifting oil prices after Libya shut production at its biggest oil field on Monday.  A stronger dollar today is limiting the upside in energy prices.
