Crude Prices Dip on Dollar Strength and Concern the US-China Trade War Persists

June WTI crude oil (CLM25) today is down -0.10 (-0.16%), and June RBOB gasoline (RBM25) is up +0.0067 (+0.32%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices today are mixed.  Today's stronger dollar is weighing on energy prices.   Crude prices are also under pressure on concern the China-US trade war will drag on and undercut economic growth and energy demand after Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun reiterated that China isn't in negotiations with the US over tariffs and that the US "should not mislead the public."
