Crude Oil Pushes Higher on Energy Demand Optimism

December WTI crude oil (CLZ24) today is up +0.71 (+1.01%), and December RBOB gasoline (RBZ24) is up +0.0243 (+1.22%).

Crude and gasoline prices today are moderately higher.  Crude is finding support today from a weaker dollar.  Also, today's stronger-than-expected global economic news is positive for energy demand and crude prices.  Gains in crude are limited by renewed efforts to secure a cease-fire to hostilities in the Middle East.
