Crude Gains on Libyan Export Disruptions

Oil Libya Israel United States Drone Hezbollah OPEC Russia Vortexa

April WTI crude oil (CLJ24) this morning is up +0.78 (+1.02%), and Apr RBOB gasoline (RBJ24) is up +3.92 (+1.56%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices this morning shook off early losses and are moderately higher.  A weaker dollar (DXY00) today is bullish for energy prices.  Also, the disruption to some Libyan crude exports is supportive of crude.  In addition, a jump in the crude crack spread today to a 5-month high is positive for crude prices.
