Crude Falls as Russian President Putin Said He's Open to Discussing Ukraine

March WTI crude oil (CLH25) today is down -0.33 (-0.44%), and March RBOB gasoline (RBH25) is down -0.0246 (-1.17%).

Crude and gasoline prices today fell to 2-week lows and are moderately lower.  Crude is under pressure today on comments from Russian President Putin, who said he's open to discussing Ukraine and oil prices with President Trump, which eases concern the US will put additional sanctions on Russian crude.  Losses in crude are limited after the dollar index (DXY00) tumbled to a 5-week low, and today's news showed that US and Eurozone manufacturing activity rose more than expected.
